Colombo : Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Roshan Ranasinghe has taken steps to appoint an investigation committee to investigate the participation of the Sri Lankan cricket team that represented Sri Lanka in the ICC T/20 World Championship and the related incidents.

It is chaired by retired Supreme Court Judge Mrs. Kusala Sarojani Weerawardena and as members former Ministry Secretary Mr. Kingsley Fernando, retired Deputy Inspector General of Police Mr. Sudath Nagahamulla, retired Riyad Admiral Ananda Peiris, former cricketer Mr. Nalinda Alwis, lawyer Mrs. Shalani Roshana Fernando have been appointed.
