Dubai: The Sri Lanka Under-19 team continued their stellar performance in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024, securing their third consecutive victory in the tournament.
The team defeated the Bangladesh Under-19 side by 7 runs in a fiercely contested match today.
This victory follows earlier triumphs against the Nepal and Afghanistan Under-19 teams, showcasing Sri Lanka's consistent form throughout the competition.
The tournament also witnessed remarkable individual performances from Sri Lankan batsmen. Sarujan Shammuganathan scored an impressive century (102) in the match against Afghanistan Under-19, while Vimath Dinsara delivered a match-winning century (106) against Bangladesh Under-19 today.
